Although fall is my favorite season, I'm definitely not ready to let go of summer and put my maxi-dresses and Lindsay Phillips SwitchFlops away for the year. In my opinion, the maxi-dress is one of the most comfortable items of clothing in existence. Though they feel a bit too bohemian casual for the office (my office, anyway), they are perfect for just about any other summertime situation and have been a weekend staple for me this summer. I wore this one for a family reunion in the park last week, and actually managed to avoid spilling any of my family's delicious Indiana home cooking on it even though it's: a) white, and; b) we chowed down with our plates in our laps. This may not seem like much of an accomplishment, but if you've seen my prior post about white pants or you know me at all, you recognize how rare this is!
Are you a fan of the maxi dress? How do you feel about sporting one in an office environment?
Fashion is what you buy; Style is what you do with it!
